Additional Policies and Endorsements Available
When you need other types of policies or increased limits for risks not typically covered on your standard policy, MAA is pleased to offer several coverage enhancement and stand alone policy options that you can add to provide you with even more protection.
⦁ Dwelling Insurance
Coverage for condos, mobile homes, investment properties or unoccupied homes.
⦁ Business and Commercial
Coverage for your small business or certain in-home businesses and daycares.
⦁ Flood
Flood insurance is not included in most standard insurance policies. While everyone should consider purchasing flood insurance, it's especially vital for those who live in a high-risk area.
⦁ Earthquake
Like flood insurance, earthquake coverage is generally not included in a standard insurance policy. It protects you against damages caused by an earthquake, including both structural damage and certain loss of personal property.
⦁ Umbrella
An umbrella policy offers an added measure of protection for you, your family, or your business in the event of a lawsuit, guarding against financial ruin when your standard policy limits are exceeded.
⦁ Trip Interruption
If your auto is out of service for more than 24 hours and you're more than 100 miles away from where you live, this coverage can help get you back home or with necessities like food and lodging while you wait for your car to be repaired.
⦁ Covered Service Line and Drain Backup
A "Covered Service Line" means any exterior underground piping and wiring on your property--these lines aren't covered by your homeowner's policy. With this coverage, you're protected against backups, overflows, and other kinds of breakage, up to
$10,000.
⦁ Ordinance and Law
If your home is destroyed or damaged, ordinance and law coverage will help pay the expenses of getting your home up to code when repairing or rebuilding.
